Agency Leadership Levels Up at space150
New roles for Jurewicz, Fischer and Jensen as Digital Agency Gears up for Growth
space150, the digital agency known for its use of everything from gamer technology to military grade surveillance cameras to solve clients’ brand and business needs, this week announces a management restructuring that sees three key agency leaders all level up. Founder Billy Jurewicz takes the title of chairman, Marcus Fischer becomes CEO and Marc Jensen, formerly VP and head of technology, assumes the role of president.
“We’re building a larger presence in Los Angeles and the brand entertainment business, we’re growing massively in New York and are being approached increasingly by global brands with complex needs,” says Billy Jurewicz, founder and chairman. “We’re moving faster than ever, so it makes sense to scale and structure accordingly. When I started this agency I knew we’d always be a digital agency that made creative, technology development and business strategy inseparably integrated. This recent restructuring shows that’s still our strategy.”
Following the success of the firm in Minneapolis and New York, Jurewicz will focus time and energy on building the agency’s operational base in Los Angeles and developing space150 productions. A brand entertainment specialism within the agency, space150 productions has already conceived, directed and produced an LA hip hop video that featured the launch of consumer interaction digital content. Fischer will continue to build the agency’s strategic partnership base with brand leaders such as Forever 21, Quiksilver/Roxy, OptumHealth, International Dairy Queen and more, while Jensen will manage day to day operations, ensuring new and innovative tech development plays a key role in all client programs.
“This is a critical and exciting time for us,” says Fischer. “We’re way more than what people think of as a digital shop. We’re really strategic business partners for our clients in the digital era. We’re committing to that role with our evolved management structure and intend to open up some big doors for our clients in 2012.”
