Hi-Wire Goes Amish

Minneapolis — space150.com, a full-service interactive agency based in Minneapolis, MN has launched an updated Amish-themed website for post-production facility Hi-Wire.

The ‘version 2.0’ site expands Hi-Wire’s online story and includes custom illustrated “tech-Amish” characters that personalize each area of the site. The characters illustrate the irony of people with an aversion to technology becoming tech-savvy and proficient.

Users are taken on a journey with the Amish family from their ‘farm’ to the big city via spaceship. Arriving at Hi-Wire, the Amish characters embark on their new technological careers. One key feature is a “cyber cow” brought along with the Amish family that helps users view the latest Hi-Wire projects such as: United Airlines World Cup Soccer, Schwans and Best Buy Learning Essentials.
