space150 announces 3 new hires
KARLA OLDEEN JOINS space150 AS ASSISTANT AE
Karla Oldeen has joined space150’s Account Services department as Assistant Account Executive after serving as a paralegal at Meuser and Associates. Oldeen will work on such accounts as Destineer, Lakeshore Entertainment and the Marshall Field’s “Back to School” Sitelet.
Oldeen observes, “I was first drawn to space150 because of its energy — it is a fast-paced, ever-changing environment that challenges me to push myself further daily. The people who work at space150 are the most dynamic, focused group of people I have ever worked with.”
Oldeen began her career as a paralegal at Meuser and Associates where she managed a large number of clients and worked on worker’s compensation and personal injury cases. space150 first became acquainted with Oldeen as a member of the Dance Team for its client The Minnesota Timberwolves. Oldeen graduated from St. Thomas with a degree in Business Communications.
JARROD RIDDLE, FORMERLY OF OLSON AND CO., JOINS space150’s CREATIVE TEAM AS ART DIRECTOR/DESIGNER
Jarrod Riddle has become the most recent addition to space150’s creative team. After serving as art director and designer at Olson and Company, Riddle will focus on designs for the Marshall Field’s “Back to School” Sitelet and Red Worldwide.
“Looking to align myself and create new relationships with people I really respect,” Riddle explains, “I wanted to be part of another evolving experience, both with the company and the skill set. space150 allows me freedom to focus on design and conceptual thinking on several platforms without worrying what my title is.”
As Art Director at Olson and Company, Riddle worked on a broad range of projects, such as the Michael Graves Sitelet for Target online and the new UV label for Phillips Vodka. A graduate of Brainco and former instructor there, Jarrod is one of the industry’s most promising creative talents, with a number of design awards to his credit.
LYLE SVENSEN, FORMER LEAD WEB-DEVELOPER FOR SYSTEMATIC IT, NEWEST MEMBER OF space150’S TECHNICAL TEAM
Lyle Svensen has become the most recent addition to space150’s growing technical team. After serving as lead web-developer at Shandwick Worldwide and Systematic IT, Lyle will develop web applications for space150, specializing in Cold Fusion MX/ASP and Transact SQL.
A six-year veteran of the Minneapolis-area technical scene, Svensen has been a programmer at Shandwick Worldwide, where he focused on intranet and extranet applications; more recently, at Systematic IT, he was lead developer and program architect for new technology applications. At space150 he will focus on web applications.
