space150 Continues Its Growth with New Hires

space150 welcomes six new staff members: Senior Account Executive Nikolas Kotz, Senior Writer Joel Stacy, Project Manager Eric Moen, Information Designer Jason Sack, Assistant Account Executive Sarah Engwall, and Proofreader Todd Lintner.

Nikolas Kotz, Senior Account Executive

bq. As Senior Account Executive, Nik will manage the day-to-day business of the DQ and Ivy Hotel accounts. “I’m thrilled to be part of an agency so dedicated to innovation and evolution, and an industry leader in interactive advertising,” says Nik. “I’m looking forward to the challenge of joining such a dynamic and technology-driven agency.”

Nik was previously an Account Executive at Campbell Mithun, working most recently on St. Ives, as well as H&R Block and Musicland Group. He focused heavily on innovation and new product development for St. Ives. Nik is a frequent traveler who enjoys exploring new regions and varieties of wine.

Joel Stacy, Senior Writer

bq. Joel joins space150 as Senior Copywriter, moving from Carmichael Lynch where he created award-winning work for brands such as Porsche, Harley Davidson, Ginn Resorts, and Tractor Supply Company. Before that he spent two years at FAME working on Marshall Field’s, Crayola, and Target.

“I’m looking forward to the opportunity to learn new things and help this place grow,” says Joel.

Eric Moen, Project Manager

bq. Eric previously worked at Comm-Works Holdings, LLC, where he led high-quality Telecommunications projects for clients such as Robert Half International, Hitachi Data Systems, and Michaels Arts and Crafts.

An avid snowboarder in the winter and a wakeboarder in the summer, Eric is excited by space150’s “people, atmosphere, overall vision, and attitude.”

Jason Sack, Information Designer

bq. Jason works with space150’s creative and business units in applying the principles of user-centered design to our interactive projects, ensuring that the user experience is informed by both the brand message and sound organizational structure.

Before coming to space150, Jason was a freelance designer and full-time instructor at a local design college, where he taught user-centered design, usability evaluation, and interactive design. By leading collaborative volunteer projects with local non-profits such as Model Cities, Inc. and Meals on Wheels, Jason challenged his students to see the potential of building community through design.

Sarah Engwall, Assistant Account Executive

bq. Sarah will work with several of our clients. “One of the most alluring aspects of space150 is being surrounded by so many talented people and so much creativity and energy,” says Sarah. “I’m very excited to learn from everyone I’ll be working with.”

Formerly the Marketing Director for The Outdoor School in Texas, it’s no surprise that Sarah describes herself as an “Outdoor Junkie” who loves any sport or activity that takes place outside. Hockey, though, holds a special place in her heart.

Todd Lintner, Proofreader

bq. Todd will perform QA on client style and general language systems for all projects. Todd previously proofed for Merrill Corporation in St. Paul. “I’m excited to harness the verbiage and proof it up here—it looks like the ideal work environment,” says Todd. His favorite hobby is jogging around Minneapolis’ lakes.
