Welcome Shoshanna, Our New Director of Modern Media

A new face: following John Grudnowski’s promotion to VP Modern Media, Shoshanna Stussy has joined us to replace him as Director of that team.

Shoshanna will lead our team of search optimizers, ad placement gurus, analytics-icians, and site monetizationers. To decode my nonsense: it’s all about growing our clients’ bottom lines.

She’s renounced her 10 years of San Francisco-ship and is excited to reacquaint herself with Minneapolis and our lovely lakes. You’ll find her mountain biking in the summer and skiing in the winter.

And, by way of explaining why we’re so impressed with her:

With a decade of experience (and Stanford Graduate School of Business MBA), Shoshanna began her career in the investment industry at Deutsche Bank and Walden Venture Capital researching and advising digital media companies such as CNET, Excite@Home, Intuit, and EA.

Later, as director of an interactive marketing agency’s customer acquisitions, Shoshanna managed roughly half of lead generation revenue for clients including Time Inc., Blockbuster, Netflix, Scholastic, and Real Networks.

Most recently, Shoshanna was Director of Marketing at SendMe Mobile, a venture-backed mobile media company. There, she focused on driving mobile subscription acquisition through direct and viral marketing channels.

Focused on it successfully, of course, which is why we are so excited to team up with her. Welcome aboard, Shoshanna!
